Senior Python Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Python software developer to build an API-first financial product for the travel industry. The candidate will take over a live prototype and scale it to a powerful product used by thousands of travel businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Help design and implement functional requirements 
• Build efficient back-end features in Python 
• Integrate front-end components into applications 
• Manage testing and bug fixes 
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code 
• Coach junior team members Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements

Requirements: 

• Solid experience as a Python Developer 
• Experience in developing API-first applications
•  Experience in developing financial products 
• Experience designing REST/JSON APIs and associated OpenAPI documentation (Swagger)
• Paranoïd with software quality and maintenance, including unit tests, external API mocks
• Ability to set-up CI/CD flow 
• Ability to work with a remote team with a high degree of autonomy 
• Ability to structure and organize complex software projects
• Ability to communicate in English written and spoken 
• Experience interacting with the Ethereum blockchain is a plus
• Knowledge of financial APIs such as Stripe, Transferwise and other major API providers is a plus
