What you’ll achieve

As a Sr. Software Principal Engineer, you will be a part of a team in a very fast-paced, agile environment that requires strong technical ability, flexibility, sound judgment, and creative thinking. You will be responsible for architecting and developing sophisticated storage appliance software with a primary focus on hybrid and public cloud environments.

You will:

• Work with lead architects on the definition of the new cloud architecture and strategy for our industry-leading modern storage platforms
• Lead architecture, design, and development of public cloud integration features and public cloud variants of our storage products
• Consult multiple teams on public cloud technologies and architectures

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting and developing complex systems in one or more of the major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Deep understanding of public cloud technologies, operating model, services, best practices, and architectures (including cloud economics and limitations of the cloud technologies)
• Good knowledge of software development processes for non-trivial cloud-native software systems
• Good communication and presentation skills, good English, and ability to work efficiently with remote, geographically distributed teams

Desirable Requirements

• 10-12 years of related experience; Master’s degree
• Relevant public cloud certifications.
