The mission of the digital data analyst is to provide insights into commercial business performance, digital customer journey, marketing channel effectiveness, digital product features, etc. with the goal to support stakeholders’ decision-making with impactful analyses and recommendations. The insights will be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Based). The data analyst will also have the mission to act as domain expert for (digital) analytics expertise, working together with the other data analytics disciplines (data collection, data quality & management, data engineering, data visualization) to consistently drive forward the data literacy maturity of the company, with the main focus in marketing activities, combining performance-based marketing and branding.

What you will do

  • Design comprehensive reports and build consistent insights based on marketing objectives
  • Provide a single point of truth of customer data across the organization, by combining, stitching, and transforming data, to be used to any BI tool
  • Define steering KPIs, by both Performance Marketing and Brand Marketing, as well as produce comprehensive reporting to different stakeholders
  • Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive and standardize data collection solutions, in agreement with marketing and product teams

What we expect you have

  • Hands-on experience & knowledge using analytic tools preferably in an eCommerce enterprise environment
  • Knowledge of data manipulation language such as SQL, Python
  • Familiarity with business and marketing terms, such as CAC, LTV, retention, activation, the share of voice, ROI, CPO, and so on
  • Good presentation skills and have a clear understanding of translating technical terms to simple language
  • Emotional intelligence, openness to a new, strong ability to listen and hear
  • Creative and able to think unconventionally by apply descriptive and diagnostic analytics principals
  • Good project management skills, capable to prioritize and follow the agile methodology way of working
  • Perfect spoken and written English
  • Good knowledge of digital data collection, tagging/tracking principles and tools, such as Google Tag Manager, and/or Customer Data Platforms
