Platform Infrastructure Engineer / Node.js

• We develop an open-source framework for building analytics applications (12K stars on GitHub)
• The company is funded by top-tier Silicon Valley investors and is based in San-Francisco
• International development team

Responsibilities

• Working in a Cloud team on the development of cloud and infrastructure services (including open source)
• Development of a PaaS infrastructure to deploy our applications on a client's side.
• Managing cloud in cloud implementation with a lot of various infrastructure challenges.
• Working with Application performance monitoring analytics (large-scale, real-time analytics system with a lot of challenges)

Technology stack: Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Node.js (primary language for development), Rust, different cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)

Requirements

• Expert with k8s. Deep knowledge of its architecture and components
• Development experience with Node.js within platform/infrastructure teams
• Experience with AWS, GCP
• Expert in computer science, algorithms, and data structures
• Fluent English
• Previous startup experience or interest in working in a small fast-moving company

Bonus points

• Development experience with Rust, C++, or any other languages
• Experience with contributing to or the maintenance of an open-source project
• Experience in building analytics applications, or data platforms
