Senior Software Development Engineer (Frontend, React)

Goals

• Plan, implement and support critical parts of web-based B2B and B2C products
• Mentor team members, code review, proactively propose then implement quality changes in frontend of the products
• Strong involvement in the company products planning and implementation, engineering culture development

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related major preferred
• 5+ years of professional experience working with web applications using modern React, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript
• Familiarity with containerized applications delivery (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD
• Familiarity with Linux
• Experience with the agile development environment, high amount of uncertainty, working with tech debt, legacy code
• Soft skills: passion and motivation to dig deep, develop an understanding of the system, own the system, read the code to understand what it does, find out the truth and propose quality changes. Good communication (English verbal and written), teamplay and candor
• Experience or leading and/or mentoring small team of engineers

Nice to have

• Experience with modern front end technologies other than React (Vue/Angular/etc) and/or mobile development (iOS/Android via native or cross-platform tools)
• Experience with modern back end development: ​, Ruby on Rails
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs or HTTP APIs
• Experience working with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), understanding concepts, edge cases, patterns, DB optimization and design
• Experience with AWS tools and technologies
