IT Systems Engineer

In this role, you will be involved in evaluation, testing and implementation of IT infrastructure systems to support PSI business processes and operations.

Office-based in St. Petersburg, Russia 

You will:

• Maintain, upgrade and improve company IT infrastructure systems and networks
• Design new computer systems and frameworks
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, troubleshoot reported errors
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Servers
• Follow information security policies and implement endpoint security
• Execute patch management procedures
• Optimize and maintain LAN and WAN
• Optimize and maintain backup and restore processes
• Install, configure and maintain server (HP/HPE) and network (Cisco) hardware
• Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
• Create IT guidelines and manuals
• Deliver trainings on IT infrastructure system processes

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Computer Science or the like
• Full working proficiency in English and Russian
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory (ADFS, PKI)
• Experience in managing HP/HPE hardware
• Experience in managing VMware VCenter servers
• Experience in managing Trend Micro Apex One or similar products
• CCNP or equivalent knowledge of Networking Technologies. Network Protocols and Cisco hardware (Routers, Switches and Firewalls).
• Microsoft and/or Cisco Certificate (MCP/MCSE/CCNA/CCNP/Microsoft Cloud Solutions Specialist/Microsoft Cloud Solutions Specialist) is a plus
• Sufficient experience of working with information technologies and systems analysis
• Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
• Ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
• Experience in writing specific IT documentation and procedures
• Cloud solution experience is desirable
