Data scientist

What you will work on

• Run user experience research to drive product insights from data through clickstream and internal systems data analysis;
• Productize and test product hypotheses;
• Work in close cooperation with developers to bring the algorithms to production.

We expect

• Passion for data science and engineering around data;
• University degree in applied mathematics, IT, computer science or relevant. Strong knowledge of probability theory and mathematical statistics;
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis techniques;
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and ML;
• Proficiency in Python, Linux, Big Data techniques;
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures, experience with SQL, Hadoop, Hive, Spark;
• Experience with at least 2 ML libraries: Scikit-learn, Vowpal Wabbit, XGBoost, CatBoost, TensorFlow, Spark ML;
• Deep learning skills for computer vision or NLP is a plus;
• Upper-Intermediate English (technical reading and professional communication);
• Kaggle competitions rewards, Yandex School of Data Analysis, relevant Coursera / Edx / other online / offline courses as a plus.
