Description:
You will be responsible for maintaining and creating analytical tools which are based on company-owned data. Expect to work with large data sets, continuously exploring and experimenting to discover new data products.
The perfect candidate can see how analytical products can help physical retailers make better decisions, good at communicating at both technical and non-technical levels, is curious and hungry for deep insights.
You will work closely with data and tech teams.

Responsibilities:
Strengthen our descriptive and prescriptive data analytics to provide actionable insights, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
Finding inconsistencies and flaws in our data and working on initiatives to fix them.
Communicate insights and research outcomes through scientific journals and conferences.

Skills:
Good knowledge of mathematical statistics, machine learning, econometrics, and mathematical programming.
Experience working with statistical programming languages, preferably Python (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn).
Experience working with relational databases, working SQL knowledge, query authoring, working familiarity with a variety of databases.
Good to have a basic understanding of Version control (Git), DevOps, MLOps, and Cloud Services (preferably AzureML).
Strong ability and willingness to learn new technologies are more important than knowing anything of the above.
