Senior/Lead iOS Engineer

AliExpress is a biggest e-commerce in CIS with more than 50 million monthly users 60% of which come from mobile app. Mobile team of Russian Joint Venture between Alibaba and mail.ru group is responsible for providing significantly better user experience by creating new app specifically for Russia, which will eventually replace global app in local market. We are seeking for a full-time professional iOS Engineers to join the Mobile team.

Job Description:

• Work closely with our product, design and partner teams to build new AliExpress Russia app using Swift, Objective-C and Kotlin native;
• Implement native modules and UI components for iOS to enable new features and use cases for supporting and enhancing the AliExpress app experience;
• Develop highly performant backend driven UI engine and routing system, which will enable flexible app configuration;
• Build infrastructure pieces and develop tooling that will improve developer efficiency when working on the app;
• Analyse and optimise User Interface and Backend Application code for efficiency, performance and app reliability by creating dashboards and defining metrics to monitor app health.

Minimum qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience developing iOS applications.
• 3+ years coding experience in Swift and/or Objective-C

Preferred qualifications:

• B.S., M.S. in Computer Science;
• Experience with Kotlin Native;
• Experience with JavaScript;
• 1+ years of backend development experience in Kotlin/Java .
