We are creating a unique product which is supposed to make machine learning available for any type of users. Today we all witness a blast with using AI technologies everywhere and at the same time almost all similar solutions are created by very rare and expensive specialists. Obviously this approach is becoming obsolete and in order to make a vast AI transformation, there should be a full automation of work for data scientists. 

We first thought about this concept some years ago and have created our unique product. Neuton.ai (​)  –  this is a cloud-based AUTO ML platform, which is built based on our own patented neural framework. This short video demonstrates an example of how easy it may be now to solve a challenge of forecasting customer churn. ​

Out technical stack: C/C++, CUDA; data processing: Python, numpy, pandas, sklearn, nltk, xgboost, catboost, lightgbm, tensorflow, torch. Platform: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA/Hibernate, RabbitMQ, Vue.js (front).

Infrastructure: Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, GCP, GKE(kubernetes), Docker, Keycloak, Grafana, Openstack

We presented our product less than a year ago, and already hundreds of companies in the US are using our solution. Extremely high demand for AUTO ML products is making us move forward. 

We are looking for talented people with intimate knowledge’s of the data science field and who share our ambitions to make machine learning truly available for everyone: people who are far away from math and do not code, small and medium businesses, pupils, students, startups, nonprofit organizations. This is millions of people around the world for whom we need to compose best DS practices in 3 buttons. International team from Europe, USA, CIF and Canada.

Role

In order to improve our product it is extremely important to be able to process real tasks, which our clients solve on our platform: understand the business meaning of tasks and received results, notice problems and challenges that they face and, most importantly come up with the idea of how this all can all be solved. The ability to develop a product in such a meaningful way is only possible with close cooperation between our Data Science team and our customers. We are looking for a person who will lead us in this direction and will be excited by the perspective of real-life use of Automated Data Science in hundreds of companies all over the world.

Customer Facing Data Scientists are critical to making our customers successful. An ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals of applied data science and statistics in a business setting, and should enjoy communicating and evangelizing data science solutions to customers.

On a day-to-day basis, the candidate works with the Sales, Account Management, Marketing and Product teams to help our customers achieve their goals. Internally, he or she acts as the voice of the customer. 


Main Requirements

• 4-5+ years of real-world business experience in a data science role
• Fluent English
• Exceptional communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Readiness to work overtime in the Russian and US time zones.
• Hands-on experience building and implementing predictive models using machine learning algorithms and tools for solving regression and classification problems
• Strong customer interaction experience
• Strong project management skills
• Strong knowledge of statistics
• Familiarity with a variety of technical tools for the manipulation of datasets
• Fluency with scripting (Python / R)
• Readiness to relocate to the US office
