Product manager

Weigandt Consulting is a German IT company with a representative office in St. Petersburg that develops a cloud-native AIOps solution, built on cutting-edge technology stack - ATC

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the value proposition of the product and for defining the why, when, and what of the product that the engineering team builds and the marketing promotes. 

As a Product Manager, you will:

• Set the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a product. Define and understand target markets and competitive conditions, layout a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands. Communicate this strategy to all of the relevant participants and stakeholders.
• Be a central hub within your company for a lot of critical information about the product, market, competitors, customers, prospects, key industry analysts, and many other constituencies
• Drive operational and technical solution development to support the implementation of desired features and functions
• Develop business requirements and user stories to provide design and development direction to UX design and Dev teams
• Work, directly, with key customers to understand their requirements, translate the feedback into actionable items to improve the product value proposition.

As a Product Manager, you will be accountable for:

• Setting a product vision and strategy in terms of product development and positioning in the market.
• Coordinating all of the activities required to bring the product to market.
• Owning the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas to assure the product fits the market.
• Prioritizes features by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives.
• Contribution to pre-sale activities, feasibility studies, making presentations and proposals for customers

Requirements:

• 3+ years of product management experience
• Deep understanding of IT operations and business processes into enterprise companies
• Business aсumen and deep understanding of B2B software solutions
• Entrepreneurial approach, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills, including fluency in written and spoken English
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• In-depth knowledge of Lean product development principles and practices
• Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience is strongly desired
