Application Support Engineer (IT Front Office Support team)

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO DO:

1. Actively learn & participate in day-to-day activities of the Team;
2. Support and manage daily activities for all the application technology required for trading and operation desks;
3. Assisting Trading Desk with all requests & technical issues, managing and coordinating them (strategies, connectivity, exchanges, platform, performance);
4. Supporting and engineering of high performance low-latency Trading platforms and infrastructure;
5. Ensuring stable & uninterrupted work of Trading platforms & FO systems;
6. Participating & collaborating with other IT teams during Projects.

YOU WILL DEFINITELY NEED TO HAVE:

• High technical/economical education;
• Good understanding of Linux;
• Bash, Shell scripting knowledge;
• Experience in high performance computing;
• Financial markets knowledge;
• Ability to learn quickly and identify and solve complex issues;
• Ability to work on several projects/tasks simultaneously with having excellent attention and focus on details;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills;
• To be entrepreneur, with continuous intention to improve systems, business processes, automate them.

WILL BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

1. Python, R;
2. Competences in C++;
3. Financial & exchange protocols (FIX, market data – FAST, binary , Bloomberg , etc);
4. Clickhouse, Grafana, Wireshark/Pcap;
5. Front Office systems - Tbricks/Fidessa/Quod/Ullink;
