AI Universal is an AI and ML start up company provideing services to many industries and help solving complex optimization challenges.

Among the ongoing projects, AI Universal is developing optimization products related to maritime transport to reduce pollution and the carbon footprint.

In this context, we are looking for Data Science interns to participate in this high profile projects related to the following optimization issues

- Scheduling of loads / Stowage plan

- Analysis of engine design and power profile of ships

- Prediction of fuel consumption based on vessel characteristics, loading states, operating modes and environmental conditions

- Plan sea trips using the optimal paths according to the weather forecast

Presentation of the team in which the intern will be integrated

Your future challenges ...

In this context, we are looking for a data scientist, whose mission will be to visualize and consolidate analytical data related to current projects, establish ML and / or AI models.

Your assets for success ...

You are a student in the last year of engineering school or equivalent with a specialization in data science / applied mathematics

Technical skills

You have an ability to prepare data for efficient analyzes (Python programming, databases, Tensorflow)

You are able to effectively apply mathematics and statistics to data analysis

You know how to take advantage of machine learning and open source algorithms with the ability to adapt them to the subjects studied

You have skills in data visualization and communication

Professional skills

You have a proactive approach to problem solving
You are critical
You have effective communication (technical and non-technical)
You have intellectual curiosity
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken

1000 € for student, 

5000 € for confirmed AI engineer 5 years of experience if he or she is an outstanding individual
