Main Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the tech lead, take ownership of backend related tasks
- Deliver high quality codes, and test coverage
- Strategic choice of data structure and algorithms to design and implement the business logic
- Participate in design and review of API and codes to maintain high development standards
- Work with product team, mobile team to ship products incrementally
Requirements:
- Strong CS fundamentals (with competencies in algorithms and data structures) and excellent developer
- 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong command of object oriented principles
- Strong understanding of system performance and scaling
- Having an experience with any system programming language, e.g., C/C++, Java, Go, Rust; knowing how to use Go is a plus
- Understand the need of adding security to the code
- Experienced in using REST APIs
- Possess excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities, able to think critically of the current system in terms of growth and stability
- A knack for optimizing
