CTO (Chief Technical Officer)

The Chief technical officer is a core position for our business and we expect that this individual examines our short- and long-term needs and will help the company reach our objectives.

Requirements

• Successful experience of CTO or similar leadership role
• Experience in building an evaluation and training system (hard skills)
• Strong background of working on Cloud/SaaS products with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and operations
• Strong technical acumen, with fundamental knowledge of key cloud technologies and tools (AWS, Docker, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Kubernetes). This knowledge doesn’t need to be practical, but at a level of understanding needed to lead development or release tasks
• Good understanding of all aspects of quality assurance, customer advocacy, automation tools, software development in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Experience with continuous integration, test pipelines, and automation.
• Have excellent knowledge of technological trends, constantly trying to improve/ implement them to benefit customer
• Strong understanding of budget and business-planning
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to present your ideas/ thoughts/plans with senior stakeholders with clarity & confidence (verbal and writing skills)
• Excellent facilitation skills and ability to effectively facilitate requirement gathering/elicitation sessions with senior business leaders/ clients
• Great prioritization & decision making skills by making accurate decisions/ judgements around business priorities & resource allocation
• Positive attitude and skilled leadership ability

Key responsibilities

• Bring a high level of technical expertise that advances the existing ways of working
• Сreate an innovative solution for our customers
• Manage client's expectations within the responsibility area (solution architect)
• Lead a team of Software engineers to drive company strategy and direction, key contribution to creating company standards, procedures and processes
• Set high standards for the organization through operational leadership goals and strategic direction, and drive team to deliver high quality products, services, and processes
• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
• Help Project Managers/Service Lead use technology profitably
• Participate in preparing core content for proposal presentation (technology evangelist)
• Collaborate with industry experts and externally to drive overall design
• Building relationships with the client on different Management levels
