Editorial Lead / Content Manager

AppFollow is an App Monitoring, App Store Optimization, and Customer Support platform. Our main goal is to ease the everyday routines of app developers, product managers, marketing teams, customer support etc. AppFollow helps you gather and manage your apps and games data, increase app conversion rate, improve app store rankings and app user loyalty.

We are looking for a person to accelerate our growth. This is a fully remote opportunity for the Editorial Lead who loves working with content, creating what drives leads to a website, engages and educates new readers and existing customers. You will have a great support team; ethical and principled workplace and will be working with a Head of Marketing who is committed to your success.

A perfect candidate loves content, understands how to deal with different stakeholders and always experiments with ways of driving growth. You are a good communicator, know how to talk to different people getting the results you want. You know what good content looks like, understand how to create a content plan that increases traffic and leads to a website, have a basic understanding of SEO. You won’t stop if your goal is not achieved. You are capable of working on your own, as we don't have an office. We really don't care where you are located as long as you deliver.

Your daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Develop a content strategy in order to increase traffic and brand awareness, engage users with our content, educate existing customers;
• Work closely with SEO Manager to optimize content and improve web traffic;
• Coordinate content creation (internal and external). Work with various stakeholders such as marketing managers, SEO specialists, product managers, freelance content writers, designers, etc;
• Create and curate our content calendar;
• Perform editorial reviews of all the types of content that is being released, making sure it fits the company’s vision and mission;
• Deliver on marketing metrics (lead generation, conversion to registration, feature adoption & retention);

We expect you to have:

• 5+ years of experience in web content publishing, copywriting, content management;
• Ability to manage different projects at the same time with different stakeholders;
• Advanced English;
• Experience defining content strategy and information architecture for business software/systems;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels;
• Proven experience writing technical content in a fast-paced environment;
• Understanding and love for the mobile industry, be aware of the latest trends and news. You are a keen consumer of content, always up to date on the news and on trends (be they editorial, digital, or advertising related);
• Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Experience defining voice and tone guidelines, style guides, and writing processes; that improve content quality;
• A proactive attitude, ability to argue your position. Be responsible and a self-starter. We will help you with everything but you’ll have to execute tasks yourself.
