The Senior Java Developer will participate in solution implementation projects based on Oracle Retail application (mostly Retail Price Management application). It is required to build a new service that will consume price events from upstream system and will induct them in existing data flow to eliminate dependency on Oracle RPM, RMS systems.
A new service will consume messages, transform, enrich them and publish to Legacy Systems, which are subscribed to this data.
Main responsibilities:
• Participate in capturing and analysis of functional and technical requirements.
• Complete detailed technical documentation of proposed coding tasks based on guidelines and corporate style.
• Develop and test required changes, modifications, extensions until the deadline date.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
• Master's degree.
• 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
• 5+ years of work experience with JAVA 8, SQL, Spring, Servlets API, JDBC, JUnit, Ant, Maven, Docker, Kafka
• Proven knowledge of software development lifecycle, methodologies and models.
• Willingness and discipline to follow company rules and procedures.
• Upper-Intermediate English skills (oral and writing)
• Ability to work effectively and team-oriented.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of Oracle Retail products and technologies is welcome
