Computer Vision Researcher

Texel is looking for computer vision and deep learning researcher, who will be able to work with us on human-related projects, experiment and propose new ways of improving current technics.

Responsibilities:
- Prototype, test, iteratively improve, and document various human body parsing techniques;
- Organize and optimize current solutions;
- Achieve the team goal to deliver an exceptional vision experience/service by improving performance and accuracy of our computer vision software.

Required skills and qualifications:
- Knowledge of Python with 1+ year experience;
- Proficient understanding of linear algebra and mathematical analysis;
- Strong experience with scientific Python libraries (numpy, scipy, scikit libs, etc.);
- Competence with Linux;
- Strong debugging skills;
- Proficient understanding of code versioning using Git;
- Scientific English (at least upper-intermediate);

Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Knowledge of statistics and probability theory;
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning;
- Knowledge of C++
