Senior C Developer

IPONWEB is looking for experienced C++ developer who can step in and work on a complex, highly performant, distributed software for advertisement industry. The candidate is expected to improve and extend the functionality of a key server software component: IPONWEB’s proprietary HTTP ad-server and its libraries.

Responsibilities:
- Working on customizable Ad-server, tuned for “whole of Internet scale”;
- Improving performance and eliminating possible architectural issues that might affect the clients;
- Cleaning and improving current API, make it more robust and developer friendly;
- Working on functional and unit tests (we write them in Python, btw);
- Communicating effectively and facilitating other developers and PMs to solve various technical issues.

Expectations:
- Experience with C++ from 3 years;
- Strong *nix programming skills;
- Experience with any scripting language (preferably Perl, Python or Lua) of 1+ years;
- Ability to work on complex libraries and a desire to delve into technical and business details;
- Good English reading and writing skills.
