Python Developer

IPONWEB is looking for a Python developer to take part in development of internal corporate projects.

We are looking for an independent and responsible person, who will be involved in the development of distributed, high-availability and fault-tolerant services. You will take part in developing of several business-critical projects:

• Authentication and authorization service (SSO, oAuth2, etc.);
• Billing data collection and processing;
• Business analytics pipelines;
• Infrastructure integration and monitoring software;
• and many others.

At the moment we are starting full refactoring of several projects and planning to improve their architecture in accordance with growing business needs and strict requirements for maintainability, stability and scalability.

We use wide range of technologies in data storage, data processing, delivery automation, monitoring of software infrastructure and other areas. You will take part in:

1. Extending functionality of existing services;

2. Building new services from scratch;

3. Sharing knowledge with other developers.

Primary requirements:

1) Experience with the following technology stack for web backend development:

• Python 3 platform and standard library;
• Python web frameworks: Django, DRF, Flask;
• Network protocols: HTTP(S), TCP/IP stack;
• Relational DBMS: Postgresql, MySQL (MariaDB);
• Web server: Nginx;
• OS: Ubuntu Linux;
• Version control: Mercurial (Hg), Git;
• Test frameworks: Django Unittest, Pytest;
• Containerization: Docker, docker-compose;
• Cloud service providers: AWS, GCE and their API;

2) Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns;

3) Ability to follow standards of development and workflow. Code review, autotests and documentation are required for us;

4)Written English.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills:

• Knowledge of authorization protocols (OAuth2, SAML, etc.);
• Experience with LDAP;
• Experience with non-relational DBMS (Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Redis, etc.);
• Experience with orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, etc.);
• Experience with message streaming platforms (Kafka, etc.);
• Skill of decomposing tasks and tracking deadlines;
• Ability to arrange actions with teammates and other teams;
