Technical Artist/UE Specialist (Animation)

Animation studio YH Animation are looking for a technical specialist to join our team to optimize the workflow, look for new technical solutions for efficient work of the animation studio, to implement them and provide the team with needed support.

To be a successful technical specialist, you will need to constantly expand your knowledge of the industry, communicate directly with developers, test new solutions, suggest those that will be implemented into the work process, have a deep knowledge of Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing operations and look for technical solutions to update the efficiency of the workflow of the studio and constantly develop the quality of the production.
• Be up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
• Work with SW developers and the studio management on improving the pipeline in general and team members skills.
• Organize training sessions for animators and other artists.
• Identify risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
• Develop support, troubleshooting and achieves of studios knowledge.
• Motivate team members on develop their skills.

Requirements and skills:

• Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine is desirable, but you must be able to deep dive in UE and be able to learn and optimize workflows.
• Be able to implement new technologies.
• Proven work experience as a Technical Specialist or similar (Generalist, Lead Animator, Lead Modeller etc.).
• Relevant technical training and/or certifications.
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients.
• Work experience in an animation studio or similar industry will be your advantage.

Conditions:

• Service contract with an Armenian company.
• Work schedule Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
