Sr. Python developer (relocation to Cyprus)

Although our headquarters are located in Montreal, we have offices in Canada, the United States and Europe (Cyprus, Ukraine, Georgia).

Responsibilities:
Design and implement large-scale backend infrastructure and APIs
Maintain all aspects of the application lifecycle: from architecture design to mission critical production operations (you build it, you own it, you run it)
Engineer solutions that are well-tested, high quality and scalable
Contribute to cutting-edge R&D initiatives including service integration with emerging frameworks and platforms

Requirements:
-3+ years of hands-on experience in Python 3
-Experience in building microservices using the asynchronous tooling ecosystem
-Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
-Outstanding analytic skills and the ability to clearly articulate approach, process and results in verbal, graphical and written form.

Would be a BIG plus:
-Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch
-Experience writing well-tested code in business critical systems
-Linux shell scripting experience.
-Degree in math, statistics, computer science, or other quantitative field;
