What You’ll Do

• Implement and maintain all AWS resources and services within cloud-hosted applications.
• Deploy, automate and maintain enterprise class security, network and applications within an AWS environment.
• Maintain availability, scalability, and performance plans for multiple AWS environment within AWS organization.
• You will be building high quality tools and automation for internal use to support continuous delivery and increasing the velocity and productivity of cloud and development teams.
• Implement process and quality improvements through task automation. Institute infrastructure as code, security automation and automation of routine maintenance tasks.

Experience You’ll Bring:

• Have a minimum 5+ years' experience in system administration, solution architect or other IT relevant roles.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization and managing micro services.
• Extensive experience with AWS (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS EC2, S3, VPC, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Amazon EC2, AWS S3, Amazon Load Balancers, Amazon RDS, AWS Notification Service (Amazon SNS), and AWS CloudFormation. 
• Strong knowledge of SQL Always on HA cluster administration.
• Expert knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration
• Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect - Associate level certification required
• AWS Solutions Architect - Professional level certification preferred
• Experience of working with Docker containers, Kubernetes, Packer, Kitchen, Chef, Artifactory, Sonar and other tools used for orchestration is nice to have.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is nice to have.
