Hi! We're Icons8, an international team that creates and shares icons, illustrations, photos, music, and design software. We help designers and developers to express their ideas by giving the right design elements at the right time.

We're looking for the leading salesman who knows how to sell in the US and EU markets to join a profitable startup going upmarket. Some of our achievements:

  • Publications in The New York Times, Forbes, Verge, and many others
  • ProductHunt #3 product of the year in Artificial Intelligence
  • A prize at the industry conference in San Francisco

We are moving upmarket with the products made for professionals, such as API integrations and AI tools. So we are now expanding our sales team to reach more B2B customers.

A few recent deals we've closed that made a six-figure revenue in USD:

  • Selling synthetic datasets for training another AI
  • Licensing our AI-generated headshots to provide anonymity and privacy for employees in the onsite chat
  • Selling AI-generated photos for making a game

We'll help to spot the source of leads and deliver the product. Your responsibility is to build a team and be a player-coach contacting leads, doing demos, and closing deals.

We expect you to be an experienced professional and self-starter. Here's our definition of a self-starter:

  • You have your ideas about building and improving the sales process, bringing it into actionable steps.
  • You have a plan where to start and understand what kind of help you need from the rest of the team.
  • You can automate the sales process. Although we have a CRM and some automation tools in place, you can give our toolkit a second thought.

How we like it:

  • Positive thinking: we don't urge, don't blame, and don't threaten. We don't believe that people are born lazy, and we need to intimidate them to death in order to do something.
  • Collaboration: we do everything together; we call each other and work on the tasks together, instead of writing long descriptions and reports.
  • Freedom: each of us can pick between Moscow, Bali, Argentina, Magnitogorsk, and so on. You could work from anywhere as long as you can adjust to the customers and team's schedule.
  • Trust: our employees work whenever they want, but you need to work 35 hours a week and attend the daily standup.
  • What we love: Agile, collaborative task planning, asking the community for advice, Rework, and Remote.
  • Fluent and proper English, although we speak Russian inside the team.
