Full Stack Developer (Python,Go) - Services

Sometimes, cloud technologies can be offered as a patchwork of ready-made solutions. At UpCloud, however, you'll be working with something that we've built from the ground up. You'll know exactly what you're dealing with and you'll have an impact on how to make it even better. Our existing infrastructure relies on Go, Python, React & Perl with a heavy emphasis on moving towards microservice-based architecture.

In this position, you'll be part of a cross-functional team of experienced developers primarily developing our PaaS/SaaS -offering (e.g. DBaaS, LBaaS). With the overall aim to provide the best in class P/SaaS-services with an outstanding user experience.

Your work will consist of both building, developing and maintaining our new services and also existing ones. This means you get to work with services you build throughout their entire lifecycle.

Job requirements

Our view is that to be successful in this role you should have experience working with cloud technologies and public cloud providers and possess at least some knowledge and expertise in the following areas:

• Programming experience (Go, Python)
• DevOps culture, practices & tooling
• Frontend experience (React)

This role can be performed from our new office in the heart of Helsinki or fully remotely anywhere in Europe. If you're living outside Europe and you would want to relocate to Helsinki, you are welcome to apply too.
