Full Stack Developer - Developer experience
Прямой работодатель UpCloud ( upcloud.com )
Опыт работы более 5 лет
Job description
At UpCloud you’ll be literally building the cloud.
Sometimes, cloud technologies can be offered as a patchwork of ready-made solutions. At UpCloud, however, you'll be working with something that we've built from the ground up. You'll know exactly what you're dealing with and you'll have an impact on how to make it even better. You'll find yourself in an environment where fresh ideas and technical discussions are encouraged and flat hierarchy valued. Our existing infrastructure relies on Go, Python, React & Perl with a heavy emphasis on moving towards a microservices architecture.
In this position, you'll be a part of a cross-functional team of experienced developers working with our public and private APIs, SDKs and all the orchestration tooling that’s built on top. With the overall aim to provide best in class developer experience.
Your work will consist of developing our public orchestration tool set such as our Terraform provider and Packer plugin and internal infrastructure tooling. You will be a key person in making our infrastructure more approachable, accessible and extensible for our customers.
Job requirements
Our view is that to be successful in this role you should have experience working with cloud technologies and public cloud providers. We expect you to have a solid understanding of cloud automation workflows. It’s a plus if you have experience or are interested in the following domains:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Packer, Ansible)
- Programming experience (Go, Python)
- DevOps culture and practices
- Frontend experience (React)
If you're living outside Europe and you would want to relocate to Helsinki, you are welcome to apply too. This role can be performed from our new office in the heart of Helsinki or fully remotely anywhere in Europe.
At UpCloud we'll provide you an easy-going environment that promotes work-life balance and self-development. You'll be encouraged to experiment, fail, learn, succeed amazingly, be brave to propose new things, agree and disagree. That’s how you like to work.
