Over the past 6+ years, I have built my career in game development, progressing from Senior QA Engineer to QA Lead while remaining deeply involved in hands-on testing and technical quality assurance.

As a QA Lead, I was responsible for leading a team of five QA engineers, planning testing activities, prioritizing tasks, coordinating releases, mentoring team members, and acting as the main point of communication between QA, developers, producers, and other stakeholders. I worked on improving QA processes, introducing best practices, and ensuring predictable, high-quality releases without sacrificing development velocity.

At the same time, I remained an active technical contributor rather than moving into purely managerial work. I participated in feature validation from the earliest development stages, performed complex functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing, investigated production issues, analyzed logs, worked with backend services and databases, and collaborated closely with engineers to identify root causes of defects.

Before becoming a QA Lead, I worked as a Senior QA Engineer, where I was responsible for end-to-end quality assurance of multiple game projects built with Unity and Unreal Engine. Depending on the project, I tested gameplay systems, multiplayer functionality, UI/UX, platform-specific features, backend integrations, monetization, progression systems, and live-service updates. I also designed comprehensive test documentation, executed release validation, and ensured stable production builds across multiple platforms.

Throughout my career, I have combined manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, SQL, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. I have extensive experience working in Agile teams, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and driving quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

My key achievements include improving release stability, optimizing QA workflows, reducing regression effort through automation, mentoring QA engineers, and helping development teams deliver reliable, high-quality products on schedule. My KPIs have consistently focused on release quality, production defect reduction, efficient test execution, and maintaining predictable delivery timelines while supporting the growth and effectiveness of the QA team.
