Tech Lead with 20+ years in software engineering. The last 11 of them I spent at Access Softek, leading the Real-Time Fraud Control platform — an AI-powered system protecting customers of 40+ US banks and credit unions across mobile and web banking. Over the recent period it helped to prevent 500+ confirmed fraud cases.

I owned the platform end to end — architecture, hands-on coding, CI/CD, deployments and production support. Day-to-day was a 60/40 split between hands-on work (design, code reviews, critical implementations) and leadership
 

Led a cross-functional team (backend developers, data scientists, QA, DevOps): long-term multi-year roadmap with product, full-cycle hiring (interview plan, bar, technical interviews, offers, onboarding), 1-on-1s and performance reviews, mentoring senior and staff-level engineers on system design and architecture. Represented the team in company-wide architecture reviews (part of the architecture group) and ran cross-team knowledge-sharing sessions.

Before Access Softek I worked in US and international fintech — commercial insurance (ProspX) and other financial software — as team lead and developer. Managing delivery teams and owning technical design is something I`ve been doing for most of my career.

• ML for fraud — supervised neural networks (ONNX, TensorFlow / Keras), per-tenant model isolation, hot-swap without restart

• AWS data platforms — Data Lake on CDK, Flink + Kinesis streaming, Spark / Glue batch, DynamoDB, Athena, S3

• Orchestration of long-running processes on AWS Step Functions — ETL, batch calculations, data catalog maintenance
