QA Engineer | Ingosstrakh (Online Insurance)

June 2024 — Present

• Test third-party partner API integrations (insurance agents, data verification services, GIS) using Postman: manual and automated testing of requests/responses, validation of status codes, response times, and JSON/XML structure.
• Test the multi-step "short renewal" flow for OSAGO insurance (Save → Calculate → Pay → Get Payment Status → Download), identifying defects at service boundaries and in edge cases.
• Analyze and process logs in Kibana: error search, request tracing, filtering by key fields (policyholder, policy number, partner GUID), and building dashboards to monitor critical scenarios.
• Handle incidents escalated from first-line support: reproduce issues, analyze logs and API requests, and determine ownership of defects (partner-side, internal system, or user error).
• Write detailed bug reports in Jira/YouTrack with priority and severity levels, attaching Postman requests/responses, Kibana log excerpts, screenshots, and reproduction steps.
• Develop and maintain test documentation: API test cases (positive/negative scenarios) and smoke test scenarios for post-release checks.
• Participate in regression testing after updates to partner APIs and internal microservices.
• Test compatibility of browser extensions (digital signature tools, ad blockers, password managers) with insurance services, identify conflicts, and provide configuration recommendations.
