Forrards Group

The Forrards Group was established in 2008 in the heat of the world financial crisis by a group of database experts that had previously worked for world famous companies such as DataArt, EPAM, and Microsoft. Up to that point, we had accumulated enough experience to start a business in the IT outsourcing area. Our specialization is implementing data-centric projects on top of SQL Server platforms. The difficult global economic situation, on one hand, could have been a reasonable factor for leaving our new company without any possibility of helping it grow. However, we approached the situation from a more positive perspective. We decided that if we could hold out during the initial rough year, the company would quickly grow. To our surprise, this growth occurred rather quickly due to the fact that companies we worked in had a hard time retaining contracts. Thus customers were leaving, and staffs were shortened.

In our work we used a distributed model that had successfully showed itself off and, to a large extent, is still in use today. This allowed us to greatly lower expenses because we did not have money to maintain offices.

We focus on data-centric solutions on top of SQL Server which allows us to be masters in our field.

After a year of productive work, we signed contracts with several big companies working in the financial and telecommunication area – all of whom we continue working with to this day.

Along with this, we have been expanding our knowledge in subject areas that our customers work in and, as a result, we are able to offer a wider range of services in the consulting sphere. The combination of expert knowledge in IT and in the area where it is applied allows us to obtain significantly better results in comparison with other outsourcing companies.

By the end of 2010, we were able to build a hosting system with the highest reliability indications. This is successfully used by our both us and our customers to host database and application solutions on top of SQL Server platforms.
