Senior Technical Writer

Spotware Systems Ltd is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is a skilled writer who can engage with complex domain models and software architectural solutions, and relay them to B2C and B2B clients in simple yet captivating terms.

Responsibilities:

• Creating, editing and maintaining technical documentation including but not limited to API documentation (event-based APIs, REST APIs, etc.).
• Creating, editing and upholding procedural documentation, such as user guides and ‘how-tos’.
• Crafting comprehensive and accurate release notes. 
• Producing materials for video tutorials showcasing product features (scripts, instructions for video producers and raw footage captured from the UI).
• Collaborating with the product development teams to establish a centralised knowledge hub for end users.
• Managing version control and ensuring consistency in terminology across all product documentation. 

Requirements:

• Competence in working with code snippets, UML diagrams, UX writing and API writing.
• Good knowledge of Markdown and the ‘docs-as-code’ approach. 
• Proven experience in creating comprehensive user-centric documentation related to technology and finance.
• Excellent writing skills along with profound knowledge of English grammar and procedural style.
• Solid understanding of the Forex and/or Fintech industry.
• University degree in Journalism, Media & Communications, Computer Science, or any related field.
